Let us know what you thought about the show!Is there such a thing as a psychiatrist who not only believes but practices integrative and natural medicine?Meet Dr. Daniel Monti, founding director and now Chief Executive Officer of the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health- Jefferson Health. He is Professor and founding Chair of the historic, first-ever Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences, Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. As one of my mentors and instructors in the world of Neuro Emotional Technique,  I've had the pleasure of learning the science of doing this modality after spending multiple days with him over the past few years since my first NET Advanced conference and certification. Dr. Monti is leading the clinical research of the NET modality along with world leading Neurologist, Dr. Andrew Newberg ( Episode 17) and Dr. Scott Walker, the founder of NET(Episode 75),  that proves the compelling evidence that this breakthrough intervention can help people to alleviate their emotional stress.  One of these research projects includes the publication of "Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) Reduces Symptoms of Traumatic Stress in Cancer Survivors".  The study focuses on 23 cancer patients who had distressing cancer-related experiences that caused traumatic stress. Dr. Monti has dozens of journal publications, international presentations, and media appearances. His newest book, Tapestry of Health, was co-written with Dr. Anthony Bazzan. Featuring a step-by-step plan for this next generation of medicine through evidence-based restorative treatments, nutritional science and healthy lifestyle practices.
