EP 84 - ANTHONY LISTER
from Vantagepoint Radio's tracks Hosted by Vantagepoint Radio
To hear the full version with music, visit Vantagepointradio.com It is widely agreed that Anthony Lister is one of the most compelling and exciting artists in the contemporary art world. His work is difficult to pin down which puts him in a class all to his own. Beautiful yet grotesque, aggressive while elegant, juvenile and refined somehow at the same time. The man himself is equally as compelling so it was a great pleasure to sit him down and discuss his various projects including a new documentary film about him and his family that ended up going in a direction he never expected, his run-ins with the law in Australia and wacky circumstances surrounding them, and of course his thoughts about his work and his process.
