When you start to step into your main character energy, you are going to piss people off. It's just a fact, babe. When you begin to evolve and stop settling for whatever low standards you used to accept, people are going to get pissed off about it. Why? Because they're going to start projecting their own unhealed wounds onto you. I've seen it happen. In fact, just recently I got a SCATHING comment on one of my Instagram posts that got me thinking about why we need to be prepared to hold people in their projections…without letting it halt our own growth. You can have empathy without halting your evolution. You can hold space for people's wounds without stagnating your own growth to soothe them.
