EP: 84 Your Brain First with Susan Kenney

from ALLWays Another Way · host Marina Sbrochi

I derive so much joy from doing this podcast. Selfishly, I love talking to intelligent people (it makes me smarter.) I love people that change the game and go outside the box. My heart smiles when I get to talk to compassionate people with hearts of gold putting it all out there to help others. Seriously, 84 episodes of game changing and out of the box thinking intelligent people that CARE about other people! They care about changing the collective vibe for the better. My next guest is changing lives on the daily. We are going to talk about your brain and all that is connected with it for a better life. Hint. If you didn't have a brain. Imagine that life. It's THAT important and controls way more than you think. Are you stressed out? Do you know what stress does to the brain? This is important! Susan Kenney is the Co-Founder and Director of Therapeutic Wellness at Emergo Recovery, a private, residential recovery and wellness center focused on a brain-first approach. Susan has dedicated her extensive career to helping individuals reclaim their life after struggles with debilitating challenges. She harnesses her expertise in nutrition, functional medicine, education, brain health and positive psychology to help clients restore their mind-body health and inspire the spirit. Susan is a certified Brain Health Coach through the Amen Clinics, a certified Life Coach through the Wholebeing Institute, is a master’s certified Brainwave Optimization Technician, a certified sports nutritionist through BodyMind Institute, and a Reiki Master. Susan is currently studying Functional Medicine at the Kresser Institute, which focuses on uncovering root causes of personal imbalance and dysfunction, empowering clients toward greater wellbeing and happiness. https://emergorecovery.com www.allwaysanotherway.com
