She is a wife, mom of a 17 year old, physician leader and educator who has a keen awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion. Throughout her medical practice she has found many of her patient’s hold their life stress in their trapezius, jaws, stomach and head. She doesn’t ignore these areas of restriction but also understands the person has spirit and mental health is an essential component of wellbeing. She strives to create an environment for patients in her office to open up about their lives and heal from their pain. Through her eyes OMM is much more than a medical treatment, it makes more empathetic physicians who create a level of comfort and confidence with their patient’s.
