They kick off the episode chatting about the Batman entertainment of their childhood, which takes on the character left a mark on them throughout their life, and if Batman is one of their favourite superheroes, before getting into the newest film. They chat about Robert Pattinson’s remarkable performance, the ‘Emo Bruce Wayne’ and if it’s a creative decision that works, the decision to ground this movie so intensely in the real world and why it makes for a Batman movie unlike ones we’ve seen before, thoughts on the villains and supporting cast, THE COOLEST BATMOBILE OF ALL TIME, why we loved seeing a Detective Batman story done properly on the big screen after all this time, the announcement of the new spin-off shows set in this world, where the story should go in sequels, and much more.
