First up is Mother's Day (1980) directed by Charles Kaufman, brother of Lloyd Kaufman, founder of Troma Films. It stars Tiana Pierce, Nancy Hendrickson, and Deborah Luce as a trio of girls out for an annual party weekend, but only to find a sadistic family that wants to torture them. Actress Beatrice Pons and her loyal but evil children played by Michael McCleery and Frederick Coffin round out this cult favorite. Mother's Day (2010) directed by Saw franchise favorite Darren Lynn Bousman has an all-star cast in Jaime King, Shawn Ashmore, Briana Evigan, Patrick John Flueger, Warren Kole and Rebecca De Mornay as Mother!
