Ep 87: Robert discusses how God calls us to do difficult things
from Transformational · host Chris and Robert Hurst
Welcome to the transformational podcast. A conversation between brothers about practical ways faith is impacting our lives. We invite you to join us on this journey as we are learning to let faith transform the way we live. Romans 12:2 This week, Robert starts the discussion in Judes 2:1-6 where the angel of the Lord addressed the disobedience of the Israelites to drive the nations out of the promise land. We walk through the original promise, the command, and how the Israelites fall short of what God called them to do. We point out two things... First, the Israelites did what they could in their power, but they did not rely on God to come through for them in big ways. Second, by not driving out the evil nations, the Israelites simply lived in the midst of the pagan culture which ultimately was their downfall. We hope that as you listen to this episode you learn how to study scripture, seek to step into what God is calling you into, and that you choose to be set apart.
