We discuss Microsoft stock which is actually a very good stock. It's part of the Mag 7 group of stocks (Apple, Amazon, Nvidia etc.).  But it's expensive. OVER $500 per share! So it's a good stock for people who are ALREADY wealthy to park money. It's a GROWTH stock with an EXTREMELY SMALL dividend. It's NOT a dividend stock! 

It pays a YEARLY dividend yield of 0.65%! That's you waiting an ENTIRE year to earn 0.65% on your money! That's a REAL CRAPPY dividend!  It would cost you $5,180,000 to buy 10,000 shares of Microsoft stock. And for investing, let's call is 5.2 MILLION dollars, you would get $33, 200 PER YEAR in dividends that are paid quarterly (every 3 months.). 

Compare this to MSTY with a dividend yield of right now, 205%. This yield fluctuates typically between 165% and higher. The yield changes as the NAV (net asset value) or SHARE PRICE changes. MSTY shares have been costing between $15 and $17 per share. But when the share price DROPS, the YIELD goes UP! 

MSTY pays a MONTHLY dividend. 10,000 shares at $16 per share would cost you $160,000. Compare/contrast this with the cost of 10,000 shares of Microsoft at 5.2 MILLION dollars. What about MSTY's dividend? It has been paying ONE DOLLAR per share for several months in a row. 

So...if you owned 10,000 shares of MSTY and it pays $1/share...you would be paid in dividends, $10,000 PER MONTH! 

Compare this with ULTY which costs about $6/share. ULTY pays a WEEKLY dividend. The typical ULTY dividend is between 9 and 10 CENTS per share, paid weekly. 10,000 shares at $6/share would cost you $60,000. The ULTY ETF invests in about 30 different companies. That is good if you are looking for diversification and LESS risk. MSTY is a SINGLE STOCK RISK ETF tied to the underlying stock, MSTR. 

MSTR is a great stock to buy/hold as the company holds OVER 600,000 Bitcoin on it's comany balance sheet. MSTR could hit a share price of over $2,000 per share in the next 8 years. It's currently September 2025. 

If you owned 10,000 shares of ULTY it would pay you $900 PER WEEK, if it paid 9 cents/share. If it paid 10 cents/share, you would receive $1,000 PER WEEK in dividends. Poor people are focussed on buying things. If you want to build wealth, then you ened to focus on buying/holding assets which PAY YOU cash flow (dividends).
