He’s a leader, an athlete, a minister, a legend in the game of baseball. Let’s sum it up this way and call him Reverend Doctor Crew Chief. Ted Barrett’s big league umpiring crew spanned from 1994-2022. He worked 33 playoff series, is the only ump in history to work the plate for two perfect games and be on the field for three.
