Ep 89: The El Niño Prognosis

from Engineering Dads Podcast

This climate phenomenon involves the warming of the sea surface temperatures in the tropical regions of the Pacific Ocean, forming part of the ENSO (El Nino-Southern Oscillation). We discuss what this El Niño may entail, and subsequently how to prepare for the summer heat in Australia. One of the main concerns is the previous El Niño event was preceded by 3 triple La Niña events. As we briefly touch on why, you can find the research paper we refer to by the National Science Foundation here: https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.adg1213 If you like what you hear, consider subscribing to the podcast and following us on our socials:Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/EngineeringDadYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/c/EngineeringDadsFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/EngineeringDadsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/engineering.dads/Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@engineering.dads Hosted on Acast.
