Thanks for tuning in to the Real Women Chronicles podcast. I am your international certified life coach, T. Audra Taylor. The sole purpose of this podcast is to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Yes, it's time to break chains and to get unstuck. Thanks again for joining in. Let's begin. Hello.

Hello. Thank you guys for joining in yet again another week to the Real Women Chronicles podcast. I am your host of Certified Life and Relationship Coach. I go by the name of a coach, T.

Listen to you guys. I want to talk on a very important topic. I actually put this topic on my soul last week, so I made sure to make note of it so that I could address it. You guys know how I operate these podcasts and I'm really short and sweet and to the point.

So today I want to talk about finding value in yourself. And mainly I want to talk about that topic because in today's society we are truly constantly brainwashed into admiring everybody's value, especially with social media. We're constantly looking at how successful another person and we're admiring their talents and their looks and their abilities. And many times in doing so we begin to devalue our own abilities.

We begin to devalue our own talents and our own beauty in attractiveness. We often overvalue the self-worth of other people. Mind you, many of these people we probably don't know on an in-depth level. And we begin to devalue our own self-worth.

Even in relationships like we get into relationships, looking for other people to value us without ever taking the time to actually value ourselves. We look to other people to affirm us and tell us how beautiful we are and how smart we are and how kind we are. We look for other people to give us things that we should first be given to ourselves. See a person's opinion of you would never cause any harm to your self-esteem if you've already formed a positive opinion about yourself.

That means the fact is if they don't like you, right, and they don't find that in their personal opinion that you're worth their time or you're valuable to them, that should never matter as long as you have formed a positive opinion about yourself. The fact that they no longer call you beautiful or attract, but the fact that they're not no longer giving you these, you know, these affirmations that they've been given you should never matter as long as you can look in the mirror and you can be happy with the person that looks back at you. The fact that someone's opinion even differs from your own should never make a difference in your opinion. Let me explain to you what that means.

Because many people think the act of valuing oneself is solely about appreciating your looks and feeling confident. But see, the thing about valuing yourself is not just about the outer looks. It's also about appreciating your own thoughts and opinions, not only about yourself but about life in general. So before you go run around asking everybody in your life for their opinion on a particular situation, the question that you always want to ask yourself is have you consulted with yourself?

Have you asked yourself how does this choice that I'm about to make make me feel outside of the opinion of everybody else's? Or are you the one who's going around taking, you know, a poll of everybody else's opinion and you just go with the masses? When we learn to value ourselves, we not only value our exterior things and our capabilities and the things that we are able to do, but we also value the internal part of ourselves, the instinct that comes to us, the things that we want outside of what everybody else wants. We learn to trust ourselves, okay, and that's a very important part in learning to value yourself.

It's learning to trust yourself and trust your decisions, learning how to make decisions without second-guessing yourself, learning how to set boundaries and not compromise with them. See other people come into our lives and they should only add to what we already have. Many times the issue arises when we allow other people's opinions to take our own. We cannot tie our self-worth or self-value into the actions of other people because if that person, okay, that person that you're tied to and you're tying yourself work to, if they decide to remove themselves from your life, okay, they will have that power to take your self-worth and your self-value with them.

So the question is that we always want to ask ourselves if this, if that in fact happens, okay, will I be out here searching for a new source, a new person that tell me how wonderful I am or am I going to learn how to search within? Listen, personally, I know what it's like for people to have the power to walk away holding your value in their hand because you gave it to them. But I also know what it's like for people to exit my life without having any power over my opinion of myself. And let me tell you all something.

There is nothing more powerful than holding that power in your hand. Knowing how to get to it and learning how to hold it, hold on to it no matter what goes on around you, no matter who changes around you, you hold on to the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. See, I realized a long time ago, guys, that I'm a good woman regardless of who doesn't appreciate that, regardless of who doesn't acknowledge that. Guess what?

There's nothing that a person could do or say to force me to believe that I am not a virtuous woman, that I am not a queen, that I do not walk with authority and power. Now I want each and every one of my listeners, whether you're a male or female, to walk in that same authority, no matter what people say, no matter what they do, you own your value. You establish your value. You don't wait for someone else to give it to you because if you allow them to give it to you, remember this, they also have the power to take it away.

Okay. So that is my short spill for this week's podcast. Listen, if you guys are in need of Life Coach, and be sure to email me at tnt growthproject at gmail.com. Again, that is T&T, GRIV PROJECT at gmail.com.

As always, let's close out and pray your Father God. We just thank you for allowing us to come together yet again another week and just touch it in a green on the topic of self-value Father God. I pray for each and every one of my listeners that are listening under the sound of my voice, that are struggling with self-esteem, struggling to really appreciate themselves, that you helped them and guide them and helped them to recognize that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in your image, Father God. We praise you.

We thank you for all that you're doing for us, even right now, Father God, thank you for the trials because we understand that they only come to make us stronger, Father God. We praise you. We glorify your holy name and the name of Jesus Christ. We pray.

Amen. Listen to you guys. Until next week, I love y'all. Have a great week.
