Ep 9: Enter With Thanksgiving
from The Victory Chronicles Hosted by Cross and Crown Kingdom
Episode 9 of The Victory Chronicles: Enter With Thanksgiving. This opens Series 3, Victory in Thanksgiving. Anchor passage: Psalm 100:4 (KJV) "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." This week the CCK Table opens a new series on the part most people skip. Thanksgiving is not the mood you feel once you are already inside. It is the gate. Verse 4 is built like a temple, an outer gate and an inner court, two thresholds. Thanksgiving names what God has already done. Praise is bigger, it is who he is. Gratitude gets you through the outer gate and praise walks you the rest of the way into the room. Then the verse doubles the command on purpose: be thankful, and bless his name. Do it, and say it out loud, by name. This week's challenge: pick one closed door, one conversation or situation you have been avoiding because it is hard. Say your thanksgiving out loud, specifically. Then go in anyway. Free episode handout: crossandcrownkingdom.com/handouts Strength in Faith. Victory in Christ. Watch it: https://youtu.be/691ok4PgG0o
