Ep. 9 | Losing Control

This episode is about control. My past desperate need for control. The way that I justified taking control even after my new birth experience. The God moment where I realized I was never actually in complete control. And the process of learning to stop taking from God what was already His. If He is the author and finisher of our faith. He HAS to hold the pen. Today we'll discuss the Israelites refusal to walk into the promised land, the way that Sarah tried to fulfill God's promise on her own and the Rich Young Ruler's lack of willingness to let go of what was comfortable to him. Each of their stories reveal to us what we already know, but tend to forget. God's ways are higher than ours. He sees what we cannot. & He's proven over and over that He is a God who CAN be trusted.
