Michael Girdley is an accomplished entrepreneur who has built an incredibly impressive career for himself, comprising roles across a diverse portfolio of companies. He is involved in 9 different ventures currently including serving as Chairman and co-founder of Dura Software, which specializes in so-called hyper-niche software products; he is also a partner at Geekdom Fund, a seed-stage tech venture capital fund, and he serves in leadership roles at a variety of companies and early-stage ventures including: CodeUp, Effectual Ventures, and Red Runner Coffee to name just a few. Michael is also a well-known personality on Twitter – his handle is @girdley, where you can find him sharing business and life insights and regularly professing his love for the casual dining restaurant, Chili’s. In this conversation, Michael talks about the systems that he swears by and implements across all of his companies – systems to handle everything from strategic planning to hiring.
