EP 9//MINIPOD SERIES: WHY EVERYONE IS *NOT* A LITTLE ADHD

from Sorry I'm Late: The ADHD Podcast · host Amy Neal

Hi neurospicy babe! Welcome to my Minipod series on Sorry I’m Late. I made this series to create short form, consumable podcasts that are designed with ADHD listeners in mind. It’s quick advice. I keep it brief, I get right to the point, and I made them short enough so you can binge listen to as many as you want in one sitting! Hey guess what, everyone is NOT a little ADHD. Everyone is NOT a little Autistic. In this episode I dissect the (incorrect and harmful) stigma of why everyone is not “a little ADHD/Autistic.” My quick advice: There’s a difference between experiencing ADHD symptoms once in a while, and experiencing them all the time, for as long as you can remember. When your ADHD/Autistic symptoms have brought negative consequences that are distressing and disrupting your everyday life, that’s when it’s real.  Keywords: ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, neurodivergence, neurodivergent, stigma. DISCLAIMER: I forgot to include in the audio an official disclaimer. This podcast is for educational purposes only, and should not be used as a substitution for professional mental health care from a licensed mental health care provider.
