Ep 9: "Roll With It” featuring Deputy General Counsel at Parallel Lauren Linder, Esq.

Episode 9 of the Mother's Day edition of The Be More Today Show features Attorney Lauren Linder. Lauren Linder is Deputy General Counsel at Parallel (formerly Surterra Wellness). Previously, Lauren was Vice President and Associate General Counsel for The Weather Channel television network, where she advised all aspects of the business on a range of transactional, compliance, regulatory, and litigation matters. Prior to that, Lauren represented truTV and Turner Studios as counsel at Turner Broadcasting. Lauren started her career as an associate in the trademark and copyright practice at Kilpatrick Townsend.  An Atlanta native, Lauren graduated from Pace Academy.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her juris doctor from Duke University.  As a former educator, athlete, and dancer, Lauren’s volunteerism reflects her passion for education and the arts. Lauren recently completed a term on the Advisory Board for the Alliance Theater. Lauren also recently served as a volunteer debate coach for KIPP WAYS Academy. Her educational volunteer efforts in Atlanta also include extensive work with the Atlanta Urban Debate League, and she has also participated in the Freedom Writers program at Booker T. Washington High School and Everybody Wins! at Hope-Hill Elementary. Lauren also served on the board of Central CSI, the non-profit arm of her childhood church in Vine City. She has also participated as a student, teacher, coach, and administrator in urban debate leagues around the country, including Atlanta, Baltimore, New York, and Providence. Lauren has been an active participant with LEAD Atlanta as an alumni volunteer since she was a participant in the 2015 class. She has also held several leadership roles with the Atlanta Black-Jewish Coalition subsequent to being a member of the 2013 Project Understanding class.
