In this episode, Jack Hendy the professional swimmer & New Zealand national goes deep into his story of all the struggles he faced at a young age chasing his dreams to be a professional athlete. Saying yes to opportunities & walking through that door, ignoring the critics & giving them the middle finger, using doubt as fuel and having strong family support behind him is truly getting this man to where he wants to be.Jack explains it’s important to not only be physically strong but mentally strong as an athlete and how working on his mental health and taking a holistic approach to success in sports has really improved him as a professional athlete. Jack’s in deep training at the moment as he’ll be racing over in New Zealand for the NZ Swimming Championships on May 21st. He’s also a personal trainer at Newcastle University helping other people achieve their goals.
