With a background in political science, she began her public service career in Massachusetts state government. It was her role at the MA Commission for the Blind that first introduced her to the blindness field and ignited her passion for this work.An active volunteer in Los Angeles, Rachel has dedicated her time to various community initiatives. She's also served on multiple advisory committees and was recognized as a 2021 APH honoree.
