EP 93 Captain Brad Angasan "Fish don't run In the Winter, You can sleep then"

Brad Angasan was born and raised in the remote Alaska fishing village of South Naknek in Bristol Bay. Brad has a lifetime of experience commercial fishing for wild sockeye salmon. His experience ranges from set netting on South Naknek beach as a child with his grandparents, fishing with his father on cannery owned drift boats, to owning and operating his own state of the art fishing vessel along with his wife and son on the FV Novarupta. He is a 30 year captain. Brad is a staunch advocate for fisheries resource management and food security for traditional use foods.  Brad is married to Ronalda and has 5 children, a grand daughter and 2 dogs.
