He is an internist whose heart lies in the philosophy of osteopathy. He reminds us medicine is both art and science. For both him and Dr. Still, osteopathy begins with anatomy. He visualizes the anatomy as he treats the patient, restoring motion and more specifically the blood flow. You must know anatomy to find and help restore health. Throughout his many years of clinical experiences working as an internist and understanding disease processes, he has trained himself to palpate and understand visceral somatic dysfunction. He has a reverence for the patient in front of him, listening and allowing the body to tell him what it needs. He attracts crowds of students during the Evening with the Stars, at the annual convocation so much so that students have asked him to come to teach at their medical school.
