Ep. 94: Shadows of the Empire 25th Preview with Fabio Fiori

Very excited to have Fabio Fiori join me again on the program, as we do this preview of our upcoming conversation with artist Greg Hildebrandt. We had the opportunity to come together and talk with the famed artist about the work the Hildebrandt brothers did on the Topps set back in 1996, this year celebrating its 25th Anniversary. As Fabio is so great to talk to, I decided to release part of our conversation as a preview episode for next week’s show. Greg and his brother Tim were tapped to produce 100 paintings for their portion of the event for Lucasfilm’s ‘Movie without a Movie, in 1996. Shadows of the Empire was a novel by Steve Perry for Del Rey, a comic adaptation by Dark Horse, a video game for the Nintendo 64, a toy line by Kenner, a Soundtrack and of course, a Topps Card set. Fabio will have a number of special articles and interviews which will appear on Tatooine Times starting the week of May 10th.
