TJ Thorne is an Oregon-based Fine Art Landscape and Nature Photographer. The inspiration for his work is found in the simplicity and calming aspects of nature and is often evident in his photos. Photography is his means of experiencing nature in a much more intimate way. Nature envelops TJ in his true surroundings and appreciation of life. For TJ there's a difference between being in nature and being IN nature. We talk about his epiphany in looking at nature’s colours as abstracted elements, his move from full-time management in a food business to photography as a business as well as the importance of taking crappy photos!
