EP:94 - Trikafta Update

On this Episode of Luke Who’s Talking I’m going to talk about, Medication, Easter and Challenges. Last episode I talked about a new drug that has been listed on the PBS. The new drug is called Trikafta and it does all sorts of fancy stuff, for individuals whom have CF. Fortunately for me, I’ve been on the new drug for a few weeks now, and it’s been very positive. Im just waiting to have a few tests to see what the medication has been doing for my health, hopefully I get some positive results back when they happen. Interestingly, I also talked about Easter in the last episode, but not quite like this. Why doesn’t Easter have decorations like Christmas? Easter lights, Easter carols or even Easter trees or whatever. This could be a marketing masterstroke for us. Last year during May I did a 65 Roses challenge, to help raise some awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis. This year I’m doing that again, my challenge is to ride 650km on my bike and also attempt my longest ever ride, currently my longest ride is 113km.
