Marianne C. Bohr, published author and award-winning essayist, married her high school sweetheart and travel partner. She follows her own advice and hits the road at every opportunity. She wrote her first book Gap Year Girl: A Baby Boomer Adventure Across 21 Countries, over the course of the year long sabbatical she and her husband took at 55 yrs old to explore Europe. The Twenty: One Woman’s Trek Across Corsica on the GR20 Trail, is her second book. They did the GR20 at 60 yrs old.
