Or worse, does it seem like no matter what you try it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the problem so you’re not sure it even matters? Those are the questions and issues my guest on this episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show found himself pondering as he looked at the different ways he could try to help the environment while downsizing to a tiny home. What started off as a project to build his own custom tiny home, turned into a new-found mission of trying to figure out how to have a bigger impact on the world around him. Michael Bartz is the producer and host of the In Over My Head Podcast that follows his journey to lower his environmental footprint by building a 175 square foot off-grid Tiny Home. He felt overwhelmed by trying to "save the planet" and wasn't sure if all his downsizing and minimizing was really making a difference so he decided to bring in the experts. Michael and his partner Sara live in their Tiny Home on a farm in southern Alberta, and when he’s not podcasting, he can be found pursuing his creative endeavors of acting and writing, or being active and hiking in the Rockies. I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Michael and he opened my eyes to some really interesting ideas when it comes to how we can actually make a difference when it comes to the environment. This episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show will also help you discover: What it took for Michael to downsize from a traditional house to a tiny home The catalyst that pushed him to build his own tiny home The 2 surprising things Michael thinks we should all do if we want to help the environment What he does with his bulky sporting equipment in a tiny home How minimalism has shaped Michael’s life ********************** Music: Fresh Lift by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com Happy by MBB https://soundcloud.com/mbbofficial  Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported — CC BY-SA 3.0 Free Download / Stream: https://bit.ly/Happy-MBB  Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/g6swHZbWtRc  ********************** Subscribe & Review Are you subscribed to the Wannabe Clutter Free podcast?
