Ep 96: The Racing Edge Podcast Ep 25 – Gearing up for the Galway highlights

With declarations for the Tote Galway Plate and Guinness Galway Hurdle hot off the press, Mark Boylan, Anne Marie Duff and Amy Lynam look ahead to the main events of the week at the Galway Festival, while also reflecting on the action from day one at Ballybrit. The team discuss Calandagan’s King George triumph at Ascot, as well as whether geldings should be allowed to run in the Arc. Amy Lynam raises her concerns about Horse Racing Ireland’s approach to prize money, and the team pay tribute to Edward O’Grady after his passing at the age of 75. Hosted on Acast.
