EP. 97 Will Stone MP

This week, Chris and Jay sit down with none other than the Right Honourable MP for Swindon North, Will Stone. Before you ask, “What’s a Member of His Majesty’s Government doing on the Better Than Average podcast?”—trust us, he’s far from your typical politician. Will is an ex-Army PT, a 10th Planet BJJ Black Belt, and an all-around top bloke. In this episode, he takes us on a fascinating journey through his life: from his time in the military to his path into politics, and, of course, his deep connection to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We know he’s not our usual guest, and yeah, politics might be for dorks, but we couldn’t resist asking him a few curveball questions about what it’s really like to be a sitting MP. Whether you’re into BJJ, curious about politics, or just here for the laughs, this episode delivers. It might just be our most meaningful conversation yet—and, as always, it’s Better Than Average.
