from Sunny 16 Podcast · host Ade, Rachel, Clare, John and Graeme

In this weeks episode Graeme and Rachel were joined by the lovely Tristan Aitchison, photographer, film-maker and all round great guy to talk about his first feature length film; Sidney and Friends, which documents the lives and stories of a community of intersex and transgender friends living in Nairobi, Kenya. The movie was shot using a variety of vintage lenses, with many still shots taken on analogue cameras used throughout. As well as the films they discuss the recent photography exhibition Tristan had, and the time he broke into a house with a 70 year old woman in a dressing gown.   Tristan's links: https://www.tristanaitchison.com/ http://twitter.com/SidneyKenyaFilm http://www.instagram.com/tristan.photo/   Sidney and Friends: http://sidneyandfriends.com/ https://www.instagram.com/sidneykenyafilm/ https://twitter.com/SidneyKenyaFilm https://www.facebook.com/sidneykenyafilm/   Flow Photofest: https://flowphotofest.co.uk/flow-photofest-wall-at-eden-court/     Mint Rolleiflex: https://mint-camera.com/en/news/rolleiflex-instant-kamera     Twitter: https://twitter.com/sunny16podcast/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sunny16podcast/ Email us - [email protected] Music from ‘Promises I Should Have Kept’ by Roja on Spotify, Amazon or iTunes
