EP008: IntersectionaliTEA - Pride was a RIOT
from QBT with Shawny and Jerms Hosted by Shawny and Jerms
Is #Pride canceled, or does it just look more like how it started? Howdy sluts, this week we are talking intersectionality in the queer community and reminding us of our roots. For too long, the white gaysTM have centered themselves in the movement for queer liberation. The babes say, "NO MORE!" The revolution has always been queer and Lea Michele has always been mean. If your queerness is not intersectional, it's not queer. Black Lives Matter, and no cops at pride. https://linktr.ee/QBT Follow us on instagram and twitter @qbtpod @shawnyboy @mattyjerms Big thanks to Maarquii, Chanti Darling, and Alie Kilts for music and production. Be sure to check out Trace Material, a new podcast exploring the intersection of our lives and the lives of the materials that surround us.
