Ep018 - 300k STUDENTS are abused annually by TEACHERS in the US.

I promise I checked the math (I had great math teachers). A Department of Education report from 2004 estimated that 7.5% of students in America are sexually abused, with contact, at some point in their K-12 ≈53,000,000 students in K-12 in the US ÷ 13 (because it happens sometime in the 13 years they're in school) x 7.5% = 305,769 (if we're being exact) per year That number makes no sense to me because I figured if 300,000 kids were being sexually assaulted by teachers surely we'd hear more about it in the news, right? Even accounting for the report's 4 percent margin of error, the number would still be somewhere around 183,000. I'm not saying school shootings should get less media coverage, but those numbers mean 2000x more kids were potentially sexually assaulted in a given year than shot at school, so it seems like we should at least be giving it an equal amount of coverage - I'd argue it should get WAY more.
