In This weeks episode of Master My Garden podcast I talk to the superb Charles Dowding No Dig Gardening expert. Charles has been practising no dig gardening for 40 years and has become the go to expert when it comes to No Dig gardening. In this episodes we talk about the principles and benefits of No Dig gardening and how to get started in your own garden. We talk about crop rotation in a no dig system and how there is less need to rotate crops using this system. Other benefits include less pest & disease issues and less plant stress during times of either frost or drought. Charles questions some of the traditional practices used in gardening and has figured out that many of them are not needed in his No Dig system. We also talk about the many books he has written on the subject and the courses he currently runs to teach people his methods.
