Shouldn’t sympathy come from within? Like more genuine? But even if it’s genuine, does displaying too much sympathy exacerbate the situation? We understand sympathy has its place and it shouldn’t be suppressed in very obvious situations, but, what are the impacts of not displaying enough sympathy?
