EP10: The Trial of Anthony Stocks - Opening

from The Oxfordshire Court and Crime Podcast · host The Oxford Mail

Hello and welcome to the Oxfordshire Court and Crime Podcast where in this episode your host, Gee Harland, talks about cases recently heard across Oxfordshire courts. The main focus of the next few episodes is the trial of Anthony Stocks, a 54-year-old man from Goring charged with the attempted murder of a 10-year-old boy. Stocks allegedly tried to murder the boy after he tried to ‘intervene’ with the defendant assaulting an underage girl. Reportedly, Stocks wanted to ‘marry’ the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and had sexually assaulted her on several occasions in the early 2020s.
