EP102 — A Living Curse

Born of a brother's spite and a King's broken heart, a curse falls on a child who never asked for it — the true origin of the fangs. 🎧 A mythic horror audio drama, narrated by Cade. "Well now... lookit you. Pull on up a chair, friend. Don’t go lookin’ out that window too long—there ain't nothin’ out there but the Great Nothin’." Welcome back to the DEN OF CADE. You’ve traveled a long, weary way to find yourself back on my porch at the final edge of Creation. I’m Cade—watcher, archivist, and the only company you’ve got out here in the dark. I hope you're thirsty, because the silence out here is gettin' heavy, and I’ve pulled a particularly bitter record from the vaults today. In this episode, we’re lookin' at the truth behind the shadows that haunt your world. This isn't a story of monsters by choice, but a story of a legacy forced upon the innocent. It started in the halls of the gods, born from a brother’s spite and a King’s broken heart. Some debts are paid in gold, but this one... this one is paid in the pulse. In this episode: The Threshold: Settle in by the fire as Cade explains why blood is always thicker than water, and why that’s exactly what makes it so dangerous. The Divine Betrayal: A look into how a feud between brothers of the high mountain led to a tragedy that the world is still bleedin' for today. The Weight of the Legacy: The story of a child born into a war he never asked for, carryin' a burden that requires a heavy price just to survive the night. Wet your whistle, get comfortable, and remember—the monsters ain't always the ones with fangs. Sometimes, they’re the ones wearin' crowns. 🎵 END THEME — "SOUL TIE [CURSED]" by CHAOT Listen on Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/album/soul-tie-c-u-r-s-e-d/1848726529?i=1848726530 Buy on the iTunes Store: https://music.apple.com/us/album/soul-tie-c-u-r-s-e-d/1848726529?i=1848726530&app=itunes Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/3TmX728FznllEgtid7B4L3 …and on all major streaming platforms.
