Ep102 - Phillipa Soo | Hamilton, The Broken Hearts Galley, and Beyond

Phillipa Soo is best known for originating the role of Eliza Schuyler in Broadway's smash hit "Hamilton" which was released as a film on Disney+ on July 3rd. The role earned her a 2016 Tony Award nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Musical and a 2015 Lucille Lortel Award for Lead Actress in a Musical during the show's off-Broadway sold-out run at The Public Theater. She is continuing the legacy of Eliza off stage through "The Eliza Project," which she co-founded to help bring arts to the children at Graham Windham, the orphanage Eliza started in 1806. Phillipa also stars in Sony Pictures' THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY releasing theatrically in 2020 and is a voice in THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN premiering August 14th on Disney+. Additionally, she is one of the lead voices in Netflix's animated film OVER THE MOON which will be released in the coming months.
