EP103 Savior Complex
from Scarif Scuttlebutt Podcast Hosted by Scarif Podcast
EP103 is a great discussion on the notion of some of our favorite characters and their 'savior complex'. Skywalker as the 'chosen one', Superman comes down from the heavens to save humanity, etc. These characters throughout our fandom always seem to have the power to save the world. What does that say about our own need and the concept of redemption and saving? Join us as Ro and Josh from A Certain Point of View Podcast dive deep into the 'Savior Complex' in the heroes we love. We try to explain our own fixations with these types of heroes and compare them to real life exploring parallels to spirituality and religion. We hope you'll join us on this one.
