from Holistic Coach Legacy Podcast · host Holistic Coach Training Institute

In this episode, Bev and Naydaliz discuss: Naydaliz's backstory with compassion fatigue and burnout. What healthcare professionals should be looking out for to know they may be experiencing compassion fatigue or burnout. Why prevention is important versus just reacting. Key Takeaways and Actions: Check in on your own healing needs Reach out to Naydaliz for support around compassion fatigue or burnout ABOUT NADAYLIZ Hello! It is lovely to connect with you today. My name is Naydaliz Soto. I have 9 years of varying hospital experience as a Registered Nurse. As the last few years have shifted many lives, I came to realize I had been surviving each day, instead of actually living my life. My life needed a dramatic change and quickly. A shift away from the burnout, compassion fatigue, depression and anxiety I was feeling every day on or off the clock. Having little to no resources to learn how to move away from this negative headspace to one I was more in alignment with, I reflected on what these symptoms were showcasing in my life, I came across the Holistic Training Institute. Through Holistic Coaching, I have been able to take a step back and bring curiosity to what I was dealing with and see where the limiting beliefs needed to be shifted for my well-being to level up. As a nurse who has experienced an environment neglectful of nurses' well-being, and where self-neglect was often encouraged, I've personally made significant strides in aligning every aspect of well-being in my own life. As Eleanor Brownn was quoted “Rest and self-care are so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel.” Seeing a need within the healthcare system, I want to be a resource and guide for nurses to overcome or prevent these challenges within their own lives. For you to be empowered in your personal as well as professional lives. My mission is to partner with you to overcome challenges inherent within your human experience.
