In the front office, AI-powered chatbots, voice assistants and analytics enhance customer experience through 24/7 service, personalised offers and sentiment analysis. In the middle office, AI improves credit decisioning, fraud detection and risk management by combining traditional data with behavioural and alternative data sources. In the back office, AI and related tools like OCR and RPA drive efficiency by automating manual processes, reducing costs and enabling predictive maintenance.Key challenges include auditability, explainability, data privacy, fragmented systems and limited AI talent.
