EP15: Empowering women and girls to become successful leaders in STEM, with Ibilola Amao

Ibilola is a civil and structural Engineer with a Ph.D. in Computer Aided Design and Draughting (CADD), with over 33 years running a consulting company that serves the Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Mining, Manufacturing, Oil, Gas & Renewable industries.She is the lead Principal Consultant at Lonadek Global Services, a women-owned ISO 9001:2015 Engineering Technology, Asset Performance and Information Optimization., and has served for two terms (6 years) on the Energy Institute UK Council and on the panel of judges of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) Africa Prize. She is a co-founder of the Women in Energy Network (WIEN) and a committee Chair of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Young Professionals Career Development Committee.
