Welcome back #Shoptalkpodcast Episode 156! In Dame’s absence this week, our good friend Muddy (@mkk1982) joined to hold down the fort until next week. J shares his experience over the week doing some videography for Mark Curry and Muddy shares his experience dealing with school children in his daughter’s school this week. They also discuss this new Snapchat filter that’s turns men into women and women into men (Tin Foil Hat Time). The major discussion of the episode however surrounds what has dominated conversation in the country the last few days: Alabama’s new laws regarding abortion. Now, two men cannot have a conversation about the topic without bringing in the opinion and point of view of those most impacted: Women. The fellas are joined by the ladies of @HashtagHeyGirl podcast. They sit and have a conversation and discuss the topic of abortion, it’s impact, why some are for and against it etc. The most important thing that was stressed was just to be open and have empathy for others points of view. There was also discussion on how much the man should be involved in the abortion process and the parental rights process in general. It was really good discussion so I hope you enjoy.
