  In this Pearls of Wisdom episode, Catherine Pearce and Lisa Gallagher of Valeska Jewelry discuss with Guy Pineda of Jewelry Store Marketer, one of the hottest events of jewelry stores – Facebook Live Selling Shows.  Catherine is a first-generation brick-and-mortar boutique store owner. Lisa on the other hand takes charge of the sales and marketing aspects of the business as well as the technical side of the store's website and Facebook Live Selling events.  There are many things jewelry store owners can do to increase revenue. Jewelry store owners have had many successes doing Facebook Live Selling shows making it a hot trend today.  Catherine says the future is Online and if brick-and- mortar stores do not follow the trend they will be left in the dust.  Doing Facebook live selling is not as simple as getting in front of the camera and uttering spiels, and showing your products. As Catherine says, there are a lot of things happening before the actual live show. Pre-production takes more time than the live selling itself.  Facebook live selling can give jewelry stores a wider reach, create awareness, and is a good way to interact with customers.  Catherine and Lisa do Facebook Live Selling for one hour every Thursday and have been doing it since December of last year. Listen as they share their experiences, struggles, and challenges on how to put up a live show with amazing production value.  Each of their Facebook live shows gathers a few hundred viewers. But as Catherine says, it is not having the volume of people in your live show but having the right people.
