EP17: The New Hustle by Emma Isaacs Book Review

from Business Bites with Bonnie · host Bonnie Wicks

Welcome to the next episode of the Best Business Books Review. In this episode, we will be reviewing The New Hustle by Emma Isaacs. We will discuss what was good about it, and what was not so good and pull out all the best gold nuggets of wisdom that we can. This book is fantastic if you have a team or are in a leadership role. However, I was very disappointed by the inconsistent branding. The cover says The New Hustle fighting the hustle culture - yet - the book was all about celebrating HUSTLE. I was really looking forward to reading a book as per the blurb and was infuriated when it did not deliver. Even worse, it glorified burnout for ambition's sake. This book would have been more powerful if it was a more insightful and transparent memoir of the support and services Emma had that allowed her the ambition she encourages. I would love to know your thoughts. Did you love it? Did you hate it? Come join us on the Busy Moms Business Book Club facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/busymomsbusinesbookclub Or come chat with me on Insta at  https://www.instagram.com/bonniewix.biz/ PS I am so sorry about the squeaky sound in the background!!! I had my little one with me.
