In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Kath Choa, the mastermind behind the Manila-based solo indie-pop project, Flurry Rush.  Channa became friends with Kath by going to concerts and biking. Kath is also the one half of the duo Violet Aurora, writing the bare-bones of her songs with the guitar and integrating piano and orchestral synths to create a lush sound her music weaves together some of her biggest pop influences.Her upcoming 5 track debut EP, recorded in her bedroom studio from July to October 2021. Is generous with lyrical hooks and melodic riffs and showcases the simplicity and intricacies we celebrate in pop music.
