EP182- The Nomads
On the latest episode of American Slacker the hosts are joined by nomads & skoolie constructors Courtney Stutelberg, Rom Rackley & Kris Jensen. These three adept adventurers describe what it is like to live out of converted school buses called "Skoolies" and the surprising assets that come with a mobile lifestyle. Courtney talks about what made her decide to sell her stuff and buy a one way ticket to Alaska, beginning her journeys on the road. As the builder of 38 bus conversions, Rom explains the thought put into the construction of these impressive rigs. Kris offers a unique perspective, having started his exploration via motorcycle after the realization that he could get more out of life on the move. These audacious explorers touch on the helpfulness of the community, how internet access can be essential to the enterprise and impressive words of wisdom that may change your mindset.
