Ep207: Does Food Freedom Mean Free-for-All?

from Confessions of a Binge Eater

Food addiction is one of the hardest addictions to overcome because you have to eat. It’s not like alcohol, where you put the “plug in the jug” and never touch it again. Every day emotional eaters have to engage with a substance they are addicted to. So what is OK to eat? Should anything be off limits? How do you avoid going overboard on the ooey, gooey, chewy foods? How do you resist the temptation to eat the whole bag – instead of just a handful? Are clear lines between “can have” and “can’t have” necessary? In this episode I explore this, and share my own experience with living in freedom….without having it be a free-for-all.
