EP207: Escaping a Toxic, Abusive Marriage: The Victoria Ellen Story

from The Heal Thrive Dream Podcast · host Karen Robinson

Victoria Ellen is a survivor, the mother of two adult children, a wife, and an executive in corporate America. In 2023, she published her first book titled “Painting in the Rain: A True Story of Trickery and Triumph.” Victoria speaks for corporate events, is featured as a guest on pod casts and does book signing events for local organizations in the Cincinnati area. She is passionate about sharing her inspirational story with the world. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, singing, and gardening. She divides her time between her homes in Ohio and in the Caribbean.Victoria Ellen looks the part of a successful career woman. But she has led a life that is even more intense than her striking blue eyes seem to suggest. Behind the scenes, she spent more than a decade relentlessly pursuing justice for her children—a battle that led to the Ohio Supreme Court and beyond. She started out as a divorced single mother, struggling to get by after escaping a toxic marriage. She and her children spent years in therapy to overcome the trauma they endured. After traveling that bumpy road, Victoria became an award-winning businesswoman, a happily married wife, and the proud mother of two thriving college students. Now, she and her family are candidly and courageously disclosing their transformative tale. It’s a story that exposes how the justice system, which was designed to help people, can ironically be manipulated to silence the cries of victims.Victoria was devoted to being the voice of her children when they were too young to speak for themselves. Even when they were older, the children felt that the court system disregarded their rights—and, incredulously, their mother was sentenced to jail for passionately advocating on their behalf. Through it all, Victoria relied on her faith, intelligence, and raw determination— and now basks in victory on every level. She has found true love. She has found happiness and success. She has found her destiny. And she hopes that, by sharing her story, she can help you to do the same.Website: https://www.victoriaellen.co/Victoria book: Painting in the Rain: A True Story of Trickery and Triumph: https://amzn.to/4fFiel6Connect with Victoria:https://instagram.com/victoriaellen.co?utm_medium=copy_linkhttps://www.facebook.com/VictoriaEllen.co/https://www.linkedin.com/in/victoriabowmanellenhttps://www.tiktok.com/@victoriaellen.co https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbu9bzxEBohcHOUcRZw3NcwJoin our supportive group community:Https://HealingFromTraumaTogether.com/ www.facebook.com/groups/healthrivedreamConnect with me:Gmail: [email protected]: https://www.instagram.com/healthrivedream_Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/healthrivedreamYouTube: https://youtube.com/@traumarecoveryexpertTwitter: https://twitter.com/healthrivedream LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/karenrobinson2022/Website: Https://HealThriveDream.com/Podcast: Http://HealThriveDreamPodcast.com/blogLoved this episode?
