The average age in the US as of 2019 was 38 years old.  Our politicians need to retire and make way for new blood. They are decades older than the average citizen and are completely out of touch with the average American. We all know the real reason they stay in office till death is because they are bought and paid for by corporations. There are five lobbyists for each member of congress. That is disgusting.
