It's your boy agent Jerry stop it about Let you know Dom love pocket man The next spoken word segment is entitled the dream channel brought to you by the official Dom J WordPress page the invisible eye up next the dream channel The dream channel I have a dream that all the people I know and love are gonna make it We strive for success knowing that no one can take it from us born on a solid faith and no one can shake a nose for sniffing out The gold and no one can break it. I have a dream that one day will all look back to reminisce on where we came from Drawing strength from within like a ten gallon drop You cannot run as the devil is sure to come he'll catch you if you're on the bottom or if you're number one But you can pray I have a dream I heard anytime someone I know is feeling down because we're blessed to see you today That's reason not to fret don't be stingy if you have a gift shared with the world think back to the days where you were a young boy Girl with your dreams of being famous nothing could stop you no pearl no play the biggest fear was the dark solution the night like the good O' days mama used to remind you to always say your prayers and we did whenever told everything else was a trivial It's a bit and we went about our days without a care Why shouldn't we when the goals at the time were for only some milk and it could that was the dream to see things I could have never foreseen anything else was just an obstacle that had gotten in between on my way to bigger things passion-fueled by no Gasoline yes, I know you may remember from early January to late December putting everything in and flipping that switch on the blender You figure why not you have a dream of living in a world full of peace and joy on people's faces their happiness So obvious that we can trace it no ill will against each other no one will show cases it Let's just face it a replaceable past means that you can't erase it your best chances are to move on and face it I have a dream of vision just sit and listen to devour all opposition with my pin and poetic coalition This is my rendition successful black man on a mission to change the face of everything I'd touch and provide what's missing the truth The truth is in existence unlovable forces won't ever change this position dream on The dream channel as I said in the intro I wanted to highlight one of my favorite speeches of dr. Kings and this is I've been to the mountain top speech I'm not playing the entire segment obviously as it's a speech and would be quite long I want to copyright or run into any issues there if that was gonna be the case But I just wanted to play a segment of it where that I find particularly inspiring It's one of the later segments of the speech so you may have heard this before but I hope it inspires you all listening as it has Inspired me in my own right For this episode's thought of the day I thought I would pay again reverence and homage to dr. King If you follow me on twitter at official.
Don j I posted on his actual birthday one of my favorite quotes of his and I think it's a quote that stands the test of time I were talking about a man who gave these prolific speeches many decades ago But when you're as impactful as a person as he is I think these sort of quotes are applicable in any decade any century any time frame And so my favorite quote from dr. Kings is that nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity I find that to be like I said applicable in any circumstance because again being willfully ignorant it makes you very very gullible and very susceptible to being plagued on and prayed upon by those that would wish to do you wrong because of your ignorance So again man being educated staying aware staying abreast of situations events all those sorts of things really come to my mind Because again if you're making conscious decisions to remain ignorant ignorance is not always bliss I find that quote to be more meaningful for children and people who can't deal with the actualities that come from some of the hard truth Life will force you to face. So just be reminded of that and always be aware And there you have it folks episode 23.5 the dare to dream episode again. Thank you for those listening I hate that I won't be able to give this obviously like I said in the intro to the audience at large So if you're hearing this special edition episode by all me and share it Let me know your thoughts like subscribe all that cool social media stuff But also be aware in service of others we're not here to just satisfy our own bang glory And we have to realize that we can't do it alone We have to do it together all pulling in one direction for the better And so with that thank you for tuning in in the meantime in between time y'all stay blessed less stress drink plenty of water and mind Your business to the next episode peace
