With more than 17 years of experience, Hajer’s work has focused on bringing global attention to the plight of people affected by conflict, forced displacement, and humanitarian crises and identifying solutions. She is also experienced in providing strategic leadership to raise the public profile of international organizations and helping executives position themselves as thought leaders. Her field missions included Northeast Nigeria, Mali, Cameroon, Niger, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Yemen, Iraq, and Haiti. She currently serves as the Director of Communications at an international NGO whose mission is the protection of civilians in conflict.
